2021年度第3回支部講演会のお知らせ

2021年度第3回支部講演会は、下記の通り「授業学（関西）研究会」によるシンポジウムを予定しています。支部の研究会の活動を知る良い機会です。皆さまのご参加をお待ちしております。

• 3. テーマ：「大学経営と英語授業学」
• 4. 演題と講師：
• 「大学経営と大学教育改革は日々の英語授業実践から」（飯田　毅 先生・同志社女子大学長)
• 5.  概要：
• 2020年の日本の出生数は約84万人であり、少子化により今後日本の大学経営はより困難な選択を余儀なくされる。また、大学教育は、より学習者本位の教育へと変化していく。COVID-19が終息しても今後感染症の脅威は続くであろう。文部科学省は英語教育をはじめ様々な大学教育改革を進めている。このような状況の中で、本講演ではどのように英語教育を進めて行けばよいかということについて大学経営面と日々の英語の授業の両面から考えていく。近年の文部科学省による大学教育政策を批判的に読み解くことも大切である。特に、大学が今後の困難な時代を乗り越えるためには、教室における日々の英語の授業に光を見いだすことが大切である。その光は、英語授業学の実践にある。

• 3. Theme:“University Management and Classroom ELT Research”
• 4. Titles & Speakers:
• University management and reform in university education begin with practices in classroom ELT research. (Prof. Tsuyoshi Iida, President of Doshisha Women’s College of Liberal Arts)
• 5. Abstracts:
• The number of newborn babies in Japan was about 840, 000 in 2020. Japanese universities in the future will be forced to face difficult management because of the decline in birthrate. It is also expected that university education needs to adopt a learner-centered policy. The fear of infectious diseases will continue even if COVID-19 is coming to an end. The Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT) is conducting various reforms of university education including English language education. To cope with this situation, the speaker in this lecture shows how reforms of university education should be conducted from the viewpoints of university management and classroom ELT research. Also, he stresses that it is important to read MEXT’s educational policies critically. He puts particular emphasis on the importance of classroom ELT research for universities to survive in the difficult periods ahead.
