１．研究会の概要
「海外の外国語教育」研究会は、英語に限らず広く外国語（異言語）教育全般を研究対象とします。教育政策、教育行政、カリキュラム、教科書制度、教員養成、教員研修、評価システムなど、海外の教育政策を調査、分析し、日本に資する点を考察します。

4. 2023年度の活動予定
引き続き諸外国及び日本の外国語教育の現状と課題を調査・報告する活動を2023年度も引き続き行います。研究会会員同士の成果を発表する場でもある例会を年4回程度（6月、10月、1月、3月を予定）開催します。第62回JACET国際大会でシンポジウムを予定しています。また、必要に応じて、同じテーマに興味をもった研究会会員同士でつながりをもち、共同作業、共同発表を行うことも促します。

「海外の外国語教育研究会」は大学英語教育学会（JACET)関西支部の分科会（SIG）です。 本研究会は英語に限らず広く外国語教育全般を研究対象とします。また幼稚園・保育園、小学校、中高等学校など、広い範囲での外国語教育に関心をもち、大学英語教育に留まらずより広い範囲を研究の対象としています。ご関心のある方は是非お問い合わせ下さい。

1. Main Theme
Our group aims to research and analyze foreign language education policy in other countries and regions in terms of educational policy, educational administration, national curriculum, textbook policy, and pre- and in-service teacher training systems in order to make comparisons with and possibly proposals for the Japanese context.
2. Our Research Activities in 2021

4. Message to Prospective Members
We have a study meeting about four times a year. Usually one or two members give a talk, and occasionally we may invite someone to give a special lecture. Affected by COVID-19 outbreak, we have held meetings online since 2021, but we may hold them both online and in Kansai area soon. Non-members are also welcome.
